The Position:
Palliser School Division invites applications for 1.0 FTE Permanent, Full-Time, Indigenous Success Coordinator to support Palliser schools. This position will commence on September 16, 2022.
The Indigenous Success Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Learning Services responsible for First Nations, Metis, and Inuit education. This position involves supporting students and Indigenous education in the division through provision and facilitation of professional development for staff, advocacy for First Nations, Metis and Inuit students, assisting with division planning and reporting to stakeholders, and liaising with parents, schools, and families.

Qualifications & Experience:
The preferred candidate will demonstrate:
Possession of a post-secondary degree;
Experience in an educational setting or similar education experience;
Strong facilitation and presentation skills;
Demonstrated success working with First Nations, Metis, and Inuit communities;
Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment;
Excellent interpersonal skills.
