Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Environmental Professional/Technical Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will get to support various projects out of the Winnipeg office!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Reviews and analyzes data collected in environmental sampling programs.
- Researches and compiles background data in support of an environmental project.
- Data management (assisting with preparation of spreadsheets and information summaries).
- Performs various office tasks requiring the application of basic scientific principles and fundamental theories.
- Report writing.
- Miscellaneous other duties as assigned
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in sciences (environmental, geology,…) or engineering (civil, environmental…) or other related programs. Degrees or diplomas in administration, along with relevant trade experience, may also be considered as equivalent for the right candidate with experience in similar operations.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Maturity in interaction and ability to operate self-sufficiently.
