Description
You will assist a designated student with activities of a in an inclusive setting. You will work with a teacher as well as our Wellness team to assist this student in an academic setting, while also monitoring and supporting this student when they need a break, etc. Skills with de-escalation, SEL, consistency, patience and NVCI skills are truly beneficial.
PREFRRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Satisfactory teaching experience of students with intellectual/emotional behavioral disabilities- needs.
Participation in workshops/conferences/coursework regarding emerging trends in Special Education
Educational background for Educational Assistants or Childcare Level(s).
Experience working with young children in a school setting.
