Pembina Hills School Division provides education to approximately 3600 students in 16 community schools including two Hutterite Colony Schools and two outreach schools. The School - École Barrhead Elementary School
Located approximately 120 km northwest of Edmonton, École Barrhead Elementary School (BES), is a K-6 school with approximately 640 students offering English and French Immersion.

The Position
The successful candidate must be a self-directed team player who is interested in providing support and encouragement to students with a diversity of learning needs in the classroom. Hours of work will be Monday-Friday at 6.33 hours/day following the school calendar. Duties are to commence as soon as possible and will end December 20, 2024.
Qualifications
Experience working with students with diverse needs would be an asset
Preference will be given to applicants with an understanding of childhood development
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students and adults
Must demonstrate ability to work as a member of the school team, taking direction from classroom teacher, special education lead teacher, and consultants
Enthusiastic and motivated to help students succeed
Ability to work in a flexible learning environment
First aid would be an asset
