Description
The Master Grower is responsible for overseeing all cultivation operations within the facility. They manage every stage of the cannabis growth cycle, from planning to harvest, ensuring optimal yields and compliance with regulatory requirements. The role includes leading a cultivation team and implementing strategies to continuously improve product quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:-
Strategic and Operational Cultivation Management
- Lead the overall planning, cultivation, and procurement processes across departments.
- Develop cultivation plans and optimize grow room utilization to maximize efficiency and product quality.
- Set cultivation goals and implement strategies to achieve them.
- Oversee supply planning for each harvest.
- Identify and introduce new genetics based on market demands.

Supervision of Cultivation Operations
- Perform all tasks in the growth cycle, including transplanting, feeding, cloning, cultivation, and inventory management.
- Establish and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all cultivation activities, including inventory management, safety, and cleanliness.
- Measure and analyze cultivation performance to optimize yields and efficiency.
- Ensure all grow rooms operate in full compliance with government regulations and internal SOPs.

Team Leadership and Training
- Recruit, train, and manage the cultivation team.
- Promote continuous improvement in planting techniques and yield optimization.
- Identify and address inefficiencies in the cultivation process.

Risk Management and Compliance
- Identify and report risks related to crops and supply chains.
- Implement corrective measures to ensure compliance and crop safety.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of cannabis cultivation experience, with expertise in large-scale grow operations.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of cultivation techniques, irrigation systems, nutrients, and environmental controls.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team, set clear objectives, and develop employee skills.
- Organization and Precision: Advanced planning and operational tracking skills to ensure productivity and compliance.
- Analytical Abilities: Capacity to measure crop performance and implement strategic improvements.

Technical Skills:- Advanced expertise in cannabis cultivation, including propagation, nutrition, irrigation, and growth cycle management.
- In-depth knowledge of irrigation systems, lighting, climate control, and cultivation equipment.
- Mastery of Good Agricultural and Collection Practices (GACP) and regulatory compliance standards for the cannabis industry.
- Ability to measure and analyze cultivation performance indicators (yield, plant health, environmental conditions).
- Experience with technological tools and cultivation management software.
- Proven experience in team management, including recruiting, training, and supervising cultivation staff.
- Strategic planning skills to organize cultivation cycles and optimize resource use.
- Ability to set clear objectives and track progress to ensure productivity and profitability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to address cultivation and production challenges.
- Ability to develop and implement continuous improvement strategies for cultivation techniques.
- Strong organizational skills to efficiently oversee planting, harvesting, and post-harvest operations.
- Inventory management skills to monitor raw material stock levels and order supplies as needed.
- Knowledge of cannabis production regulations and strict adherence to safety and cleanliness standards.
- Identification and mitigation of risks related to cultivation and supply chain management.
