EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT Altario School Competition #PLSD-2086This position is currently posted internally to CUPE e mployees fo r 5 working days until 4:30 p.m. February 11 th , 2025 as per the CUPE Local 5829 Collective Agreement. We are currently looking for a dependable individual with a strong work ethic to provide support in the classroom. Occasional work with special needs students may be required. You must exhibit a strong interest in working with children, be friendly in nature and be sensitive towards children's needs. An active interest in the agricultural program would be an asset.This is a part time probationary (0.45 FTE) position in Altario School to commence February 24th, 2025. You will be required to work 13.5 hours per week. You must be able to exhibit the associated skills to communicate with students and teachers in a meaningful and professional manner. You will be expected to present yourself as an organized and professional representative of the staff, both in person, on the telephone and through correspondence. Previous experience working within a fast-paced, team environment would be an asset. Competition will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
