Grade 1/2 Teacher

TEACHER Grade 1 / 2 Berry Creek Community School Competition #PLSD-2081We are seeking a dynamic and innovative teacher to join our team at Berry Creek Community School located in Cessford, Alberta. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for student learning and achievement with the flexibility to adapt to a variety of unique learning abilities. You will engage all learners and inspire and motivate students by providing interesting and stimulating course work. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills along with a strong commitment to learning. This is a part time temporary position (0.6 FTE) to commence February 24th, 2025. There is a possibility of an extension into the 2024-2025 school year. You will be primarily responsible for planning, preparing and delivering Alberta curriculum at the Grade 1 and 2 levels, along with some junior high option courses. Preference will be given to an applicant with Elementary Education background and training. Experience working within a multi-grade environment would be a benefit.
