Description
This is a full time temporary teaching assignment to commence on the first day of the 2024-2025 school year. This is a temporary leave replacement position that will remain in effect until the permanent employee returns. You will be primarily responsible for planning, preparing and delivering instruction of the junior and senior high English and Science curriculums.
Altario is located in east-central Alberta along Highway 899. The school community includes the three hamlets of Compeer, Kirriemuir, and Altario. The school is the heart of the community connecting families and providing small town support to our students and staff. Altario School is a K-12 school that is home to an agriculture program that includes a student led farm of steers, turkeys, chickens, sheep and more. Altario School has a rich history of high academic achievement, student voice, and community involvement.
