The successful candidate will apply systems engineering knowledge to design, develop, test, and support engine control systems for new and/or currently flying P&WC engines. If you are a professional able to work quite independently and have a thorough knowledge of the discipline and the role, we invite you to apply. What your day to day will look like: Team environment - working closely with a small team of peers on a daily basis, with regular interdisciplinary team meetings with experts across engineering to design and problem solve technical issues Interacting with suppliers and airframers and end customers Designing control system software Testing control software on simulators and in the test cell, and supporting flight testing Investigating field issues What you need to be successful: Must haves: Be eligible to work in Canada Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable Excellent communication skills in English, French is an asset Team player Assets: Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities Quick learner and adaptable Curious and willing to ask questions Work Environment What my role type is: Primarily Onsite (regular office hours ) Diversity, Equity & Inclusion The masculine pronoun is used without discrimination and solely for the purpose of making the text easier to read.
