Premier Aviation is a leading full-service provider of airframe heavy maintenance. We are certified to maintain various aircraft types, including, but not limited to: ATR, DeHavilland, and Embraer.

Salary progression based on the E-licensing process (Transport Canada Certificate of Compliance and Exams). Salary up to $28/hour.


JOB DESCRIPTION

The Avionics Technician - Apprentice installs, adjusts and repairs aircraft systems and equipment.


TASKS

  • Troubleshoot aircraft electrical systems;
  • Adjust, repair and overhaul aircraft electrical systems in accordance with specifications, technical drawings, manuals and procedures;
  • Perform and report on routine maintenance;
  • Identify and place material orders in accordance with company policies;
  • Sign all forms or work files applicable to his/her work;
  • Attend staff training and instruction;
  • Inform Quality Assurance Supervisor of irregularities on maintenance work tasks.


DESIRED SKILLS

  • Recognized diploma in avionics or another accredited course;
  • Relevant experience in the field.
