Description
The Avionics Technician - E Licensed installs, adjusts and repairs aircraft systems and equipment.
TASKS
- Troubleshoot aircraft electrical systems;
- Adjust, repair and overhaul aircraft electrical systems in accordance with specifications, technical drawings, manuals and procedures;
- Perform and report on routine maintenance;
- Identify and place material orders in accordance with company policies;
- Sign all forms or work files applicable to his/her work;
- Attend staff training and instruction;
- Inform Quality Assurance Supervisor of irregularities on maintenance work tasks.
DESIRED SKILLS
- Recognized diploma in avionics or another accredited course;
- E license issued by Transport Canada;
- Relevant experience in the field.
DESIRED ABILITIES
- Sense of organization and priorities;
- Excellent judgment and initiative;
- Alertness and attention to detail;
- Team spirit.
