As part of the janitorial service, the attendant is responsible for various interior housekeeping and general exterior maintenance tasks. He/she may be asked to provide the necessary information and to visit the premises with the various contractors, at the supervisor's request. He/she must participate in specific training, keep his/her work and storage area clean and safe, and perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor, as well as respond to emergencies during his/her shift, all for the continued smooth operation of the department.

Requested skills

Requirements:

  • Must have a high school diploma.
  • Good knowledge of Outlook software.
  • Must be able to communicate in French and in English (spoken and written).
  • Muste have knowledge of WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System).
  • Must be able to walk often during the day, stand, push, pull and operate various equipment repetitively.
  • Must be well coordinated and physically able to bend, lift, carry heavy equipment.
