Regular full-time position (unionized)
Workplace: Prescott and Russell Residence
Schedule: 37.5 hours/week - day shifts (schedule can be modified according to the employer's needs)
Hourly rate: $55.02 to $65.60

The Prescott and Russell Residence, a long-term care facility of 146 beds located in Hawkesbury, requires candidates with abilities, training and experience to fill unionized part-time positions. Bilingualism is mandatory.

The Employer will reimburse the cost of renewing your license.
(for a nurse who works at least 750 hours for PRR in a calendar year)

Requested skills

Requirements:

To apply for this position, the candidate must have:
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse in the Extended Class (Primary or Adult Health Care) with unrestricted right to practice.
  • Professional liability coverage
  • Member of the Nurse Practitioners Association of Ontario (APN)
  • Ability to communicate fluently and effectively in French and English

Asset:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a nurse practitioner
  • Advanced education and experience in gerontology
  • Specialized certification in gerontological nursing
  • Post-graduate certificate and experience in palliative care

A criminal record check must be provided upon hiring only (dated no longer than three months prior to the date when it has been requested) and is a condition of employment.
