Description

Be part of a dynamic team!

Date and length of contract: May 5th to August 22nd, 2025 or June 23rd to August 22nd, 2025 (high school student) (may remain on-call afterwards)

Responsible for providing recreational services based on the residents’ individualized needs. Organize and conduct individual and group recreational and leisure activities for residents, age-appropriate and based on their skills, needs, interests and their accustomed way of life. Responsible for documenting the results. Perform all other tasks in his field of responsibilities as requested by the supervisor.

Closing date: March 13th, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.

All students over 18 years of age must provide a criminal record check upon hiring only (dated no longer than three months prior to the date when it has been requested) and is a condition of employment.

Requested skills

• Must complete the Food Safety Standards course offered by the Health Unit;
• Common judgement required to resolve problems, be able to plan and show creativity during unexpected situations;
• Show leadership and initiative;
• Capable of working efficiently as a team member with other staff members;
• Able to communicate in French and English (verbally and in writing);

Assets:

• Studies in a field related to the position;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint;
