Description

On call position during winter months (non-unionized)
Workplace: Plantagenet
Stand-by premium: We are guaranteeing a gross minimum amount of $200 per week.

Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- Ability to communicate in French and English (verbally and in writing).
- A valid class “DZ” driver’s license is mandatory.
- Must be able to be at the garage within 30 minutes following the supervisor’s call.
- Experience in welding and/or mechanical repair.
- WHMIS, St. John Ambulance or tire installation courses.
- One year of experience with snowplow and as a salt/sand spreader operator.
- Two years of experience in road construction and maintenance.
A criminal record check must be provided upon hiring only (dated no longer than three months prior to the date when it has been requested) and is a condition of employment.
