JOB OVERVIEW
Pro-Par, Inc. is a Canadian based manufacturer committed to serving the compressed gas industries needs in storage and transportation equipment. Drawing on the expertise of highly experienced welders and assemblers. Pro-Par delivers safe, reliable, and durable products with strict standards that offer complete peace of mind for customers. We are currently expanding our team to add another highly skilled welder to our team.
Full time Monday to Friday:
- During peak season : Work hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday). Occasionnal Saturday if required to meet deadline expectations
- During our slow season: 2 week rotational shift. 7:00 AM to 3H30 PM and 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
WAGE: $28.98 - $31.29 Starting with annual increases based on performance
RESPONSABILITIES AND DUTIES
- Repair tanks and follow repair process
- Read and interpret blueprint drawings
- Truck assembly
- Use of machine shop tools such as drill presses and shears to cut, bend and tap parts, experience with manual plasma torch, chop saw, hand drills and grinders
- Other duties as seen fit
QUALIFICATIONS
- TSSA Certification in Boilers and Pressure Vessels an asset
- Previous experience in the oil and gas industry, working with (type of metal), pressure vessels, tanks an asset
- Experienced welding techniques in SMAW 2G & 3G XRAY Quality
- Weld in accordance with ASME, CWB and TSSA codes
- Mechanically inclined: Able to mount electrical, wiring and pneumatic components, hydraulic systems, etc.
- Ability to effectively read, write and understand English
- Able to work under little supervision, self motivated, well disciplined with exceptional attendance and flexible
- Previous certification in forklift, overhead crane and confined spaces an asset
- Proficient with hand and power tools
