\nRole & Responsibilities:\n\n
    \n\t
  • As part of the Owner’s Team, the Scheduler will be responsible for maintaining an integrated master schedule for authorizations, permitting, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.\n\t
  • \n
  • Integrate and maintain schedules (Owner, consultants, and contractors).\n\t
  • \n
  • Disseminate scheduling templates and coordinate as required to construct and maintain project schedules.\n\t
  • \n
  • Publish integrated schedule to Project Team on a weekly basis.\n\t
  • \n
  • Provide input on scheduling trends, conflicts, risks, and opportunities that will affect both weekly execution and project deliverables.\n\t
  • \n
  • Review the forecast for each project component to ensure alignment to the master schedule.\n\t
  • \n
  • Ensure that the master schedule reflects all known and anticipated constraints (capacity availability and material availability).\n\t
  • \n
  • Provide input to weekly and monthly reports that reconcile to baseline and control schedule.\n\t
  • \n
  • Comparing physical job progress against contractor progress reports and schedule updates.\n\t
  • \n
  • Assisting consultants, contractors & vendors in the set-up and implementation of contractual schedule requirements.\n\t
  • \n
  • Support all project groups concerning the planning of engineering, procurement, and construction activities.\n\t
  • \n
  • Other related tasks as required.\n

\n
\nQualifications / Requirements:\n\n
    \n\t
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience on mining projects as Scheduler is preferred, or at least 5 years of experience in scheduling within heavy industrial construction.\n\t
  • \n
  • Degree or diploma in a construction-related field considered an asset.\n\t
  • \n
  • Will consider dynamic candidate without degree with considerable experience who can handle the role.\n\t
  • \n
  • Expert in the use of P6 Primavera; with a working knowledge of other scheduling packages.\n\t
  • \n
  • Proficient use of Excel and other Microsoft applications.\n\t
  • \n
  • Knowledge of Ecosys an asset\n\t
  • \n
  • Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills.\n\t
  • \n
  • Ability to communicate and interact within all levels of the organization.\n\t
  • \n
  • Ability and willingness to travel for site-work rotations.\n
