Location: Estevan Depot - 501 Kensington Ave
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, hours vary upon needs - guaranteed 35 hours per week, open availability required
** PLEASE NOTE: Temporary Seasonal position - likely to end at the end of December/beginning of January **
Wage: $20.58/hr

What is the job?
- Pick-up and delivery of customer's packages efficiently
- Ability to solve problems as they arise while on road
- Build positive relationships with both our internal teams and customers
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Managing daily delivery and pick-up schedules as assigned
- Unloading and sorting freight
- Preload up to 5 trucks while pulling assigned freight off conveyor belt
- Scanning/Cubing/Reweighing
- Build positive relationships with team (couriers, lead hands and sorters)
- Working with conveyor and roller belts, inside trailers, cargo containers and package vehicles
- Accurately scan, count the number of stops on a truck and write all premium products while loading
- Adhere to all safety standards
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Other duties as assigned
Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules
Scan packages / mail as it is received, delivered, or returned to the depot at the end of the day
Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers
Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic-Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR)
- Valid class 5 license, clean drivers abstract
- Ability to read maps; Good sense of geographical direction
- Flexible to work additional hours or overtime
- Able to pass a criminal record check
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs.

3 years of driving experience and clean driver’s abstract to drive delivery vehicles.
