Description Location: Mississauga, ON Shift hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm (37.5h/week)The Central Unmarks Representative accurately enters detailed and descriptive information (manifests) for unmarked parcels into the Salesforce application to provide stakeholders with the ability to search and find lost freight.
Responsibilities- Process unmarked shipments in the CUS database
- Update manifested items entered by our hubs / depots for Central Unmarks
- Manifest sensitive documents (e.g., passports, court documents, high value items, jewelry, cell phones, precious metals, etc.)
- Enter information into the tracking system (e.g. PO numbers) to recover original tracking numbers to ship packages to receivers
- Process task requests from stakeholders (e.g. Searching Salesforce for lost items)
- Match locator items accurately with the trace contents received from customers
- Scan each item to designated location for future seamless retrieval
- Must adhere to ALL company policies and procedures
- Must have safe work habits
- Scan and shelve freight
- Sort and load freight into cages for the day's work
- Maintain a neat and tidy work environment
- Track and trace Unmarks through the CUS database and CCD Track and Trace system
- Scan all freight from Shipping Rooms nationally arriving at the CUS facility
- Other duties as assigned
- Exemplifies and consistently demonstrates our core competencies of communication, innovation, change management, relationship building and leadership
- Professional manner when dealing with Claims and Trace Specialists
- Must be able to lift up to 70lbs
- Must work effectively with a team
- Must be versatile - able to work in a fast-paced environment, able to work with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of PCL \ RF scanners is an asset
- Able to work in a warehouse environment
- Knowledge of Track and Trace CCD is an asset
- Process freight using the ESS system
- Good record keeping skills an asset
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite an asset
- The ability to Prioritize is an asset
