Responsibilities
Schedule: Monday - Friday
This role will be working in the office every day.
- Create monthly reports for management on network utilization, capacity, and volumes.
- Provide proactive problem solving, re-routes, alternate hub sorts.
- Provide management with costing on network re-routes and charters based on current costing model.
- Work with Ground and Air Operations Teams for network change planning and execution
- Report on variatian to plan and carrier performance.
- Actively involved in budget planning and forecasting on all network costing, routes, and capacity issues
- Ability in writing macros, pivot tables, and other methods to develop tools for large data sets
- Continuous Improvement approach
- Assist in forecast review and schedule maintenance for static and dynamic networks.
- Maintain SAP TM master data objects, such as default routes, schedules.
- Analyze network lane segments and recommend ensure network connectivity of routes in TM while maintaining service.
- Over 5 years and including 7 years (progressive experience)
- must have experience in ensuring data connectivity (i.e. trips) for complex networks, worked in Freight and Express environments and experience working with SAP TM, Qlikview and Power BI creation for dashboards.
- The Analyst must have in-depth knowledge of the Express and Freight network.
- LH transportation planning and scheduling, transportation management systems, forecasting, third party carrier management, LH performance, and load planning.
- Poses a strong understanding of network distribution principles, practices and systems
- Operational process management experience
- Knowledge using Business Intelligence Dashboards
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks while achieving timelines and commitments
- Advance Microsoft Office: Excel Marcos, Access, Word, PowerPoint, SAP TM etc.
Equivalent to Completion of High School Plus an Additional Work Related Program Up To One Academic Year of Duration, Course or courses specific to occupational area, Often courses result in certificate in occupational specialty
