Purolator Inc. is seeking an individual to act as Owner Operator to perform pickup and delivery of packages in the 150 Mile House region. The successful candidate must operate the appropriate vehicle at their own expense and are responsible to train and provide relief drivers in the event of absences such as vacation or illness. Owner Operators are remunerated, as per the Collective Agreement, based on the number of packages picked up and delivered.
Route Information:
- Route begins and ends at the Williams Lake depot
- Approximately 70 stops and 150 pieces per day
- Sorting and additional duties, as required
- Daily guarantee, as per collective agreement
- Full health and dental benefits, as per collective agreement
Requirements:
- Must provide a vehicle 1 Ton Cube Van (2019 or new)
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's license
- Clean drivers abstract with no more than four (4) demerits
- Must complete and pass a series of criminal record checks
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs, unaided
- Responsible for providing relief drivers to cover absences
- Responsible for own WCB coverage
