Job Description
DescriptionReporting to the Manager, National Service Tower, the Process Engineering Specialist will be responsible for managing performance excellence and driving key performance improvement initiatives. Key areas of responsibilities include
Setting and monitoring operations performance KPI’s and metrics for all levels of operations which include development of the KPI, method of reporting, establishing data owners, maintenance of the KPI, management of control plans, etc.
Responsible for the Trak 3 process compliance to enable maximum revenue recovery and visibility by driving focus in the field, including collaborating with the technology team on system investment opportunities.
Providing analytical business intelligence and insights on operations performance, key levers and improvement opportunities
Supporting the overall operations management review cadence which includes monthly business reviews and national business reviews and field operation reviews.
ResponsibilitiesInclude, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for proactive monitoring and reporting on all operations performance targets and initiatives.
- Own the Operations scorecard process for all KPI’s including guiding development of dashboards
- Responsible for monitoring and compliance of Trak 3 activities from a process stand-point to help identify gaps and opportunities to drive continuous improvement in the field.
- Establish standards and operating procedures for Trak 3 in collaboration with process excellence team.
- Lead and oversee revenue capture processes, systems and technology impacting Operations in collaboration with the IT Ops Systems team
- Provide support and approvals for Trak 3 customer credits.
- Work with the Operations teams onsite to identify root causes, and mitigation strategies to achieve better outcomes for our customers and optimize revenue capture
- Develop new reporting capabilities to provide line of sight on our performance and identify and action on opportunities
- Develop reports to showcase trends and work with the operations team to brainstorm solutions
- Lead and facilitate the terminal Id set-up and modification process from end to end.
- Support the custom labels approval process
- Integrate, consolidate and manage scope, resources, timelines and budgets on projects/initiatives
- Strong leadership, project and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in an Agile approach
- To work collaboratively with finance function to ensure tight alignment on financial and operations performance.
- Performing other related duties as required.
- Degree in Business Management/Industrial Engineering/BS degree in Engineering or Operations Research or equivalent
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Project Management skills Required-PMP designation preferred but not required
- Six Sigma tools and techniques preferred but not required
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Ability to develop and present business cases to senior management.
- Minimum of 4-8 years of leadership experience in a high availability Supply Chain (Transportation/Network/logistics) environment
- Experience working in a complex cross functional environment
- Frequent interaction with senior management on projects and updates
- Conveys information fluently, interpreting and clarifying details and explaining rationally.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Productivity and performance measures
