Location: 120 Hodsman Road, Regina SK
Working Hours: 15 weekly hours
Scheduled Shift: part-time Tuesday-Friday 04:30-07:30, Saturday 09:30-12:30
Employment Contract: Permanent
Pay rate: $20.93 per hour
The AM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.
Responsibilities
Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery
- Quick learner and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Technological literacy
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs.
- Flexible working hours
- CSA approved safety footwear
- Successfully complete a criminal record check to qualify
Specialized education is not required.
No experience necessary.
