Description

The PM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Hours of work: Monday - Friday 6:00PM - 10:00PM, 20 hours per week

Wage: $22.27 per hour. Top Rate is $29.23 as per collective agreement.

Location: 3700 Jericho Road, Richmond BC

Responsibilities

Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
