Description

The Technical Product Manager (TPM) plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technology and business strategy. This individual is responsible for applications supporting the organization and customers and will work closely with business partners to identify areas of opportunity and enhancements, create roadmaps to show the evolution of the product(s), lead the implementation of new releases and improvements for existing products/services and manage the project team and budget.

The Technical Product Manager will have overall responsibility for the project/sprint planning and system audits processes and will work closely with the technical development team, other IT teams and Product Management.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Work closely with development teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with product requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools in partnership with Solution Architect and Development Lead.
  • Align with Product Management team to define product requirements and prioritize features based on business value and technical feasibility.

Project Management

  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication among team members.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, customers, and partners.
  • Effectively communicate product vision, progress, and outcomes.
  • Address stakeholder concerns and manage expectations.
Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience

  • Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of software development processes and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and platforms.
