The Transport Logistics Manager for a company specializing in the manufacturing of aluminum docks, with 9 branches located in Quebec and Ontario, oversees and coordinates all logistical and transportation activities for the company. This role is crucial to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of products while optimizing costs and maintaining high service standards.

Main Responsibilities

1. Planning and Coordination:
• Plan and coordinate the shipment of aluminum docks between manufacturing sites and branches.
• Ensure synchronization between production, inventory, and delivery requirements.
2. Transport Carrier Management:
• Select and negotiate contracts with carriers.
• Evaluate carrier performance and manage relationships to ensure quality services.
3. Cost Optimization:
• Analyze transportation costs and implement strategies to reduce them without compromising service quality.
• Implement effective and sustainable shipping practices.
4. Tracking and Traceability:
• Ensure the traceability of shipments and manage tracking systems to guarantee real-time visibility.
• Proactively resolve delivery issues, delays, and incidents.
5. Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with transportation and logistics regulations.
