Description

We are a Canadian company dedicated to cellular networks.

The Technician will be travelling on a regular basis. Most of our sites are in Ontario and Quebec within an average distance of 100-400km from our offices.

Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Technician is responsible for the projects that are assigned to him, as per the instructions and prescribed deadlines, while taking into account our client’s different procedures.

Most of the work consists in:

• installing and termination of different types of cables (DC Power, Ethernet, alarms, RF, coaxial and fiber)
• performing a variety of testing (Sweeps, BER, OTDR, Ethernet, RFC2544, etc.)
• installing, programming, and commissioning of different types of Switches and Node
• microwave commissioning, testing, integration, and upgrade

The Technician must make sure he has all the necessary material in order to complete his projects. The company's equipment is under his responsibility, and he must ensure its proper use, condition and maintenance.
