What is the opportunity?

The Associate Director, Client Communications plays a critical role in shaping and enhancing the reputation of RBCIS business and image in the market. The Associate Director will work with the Head of Client Success to create and implement innovative and differentiated communications strategies that will drive employee and client engagement and will support business objectives.

What will you do?

  • Supports RBCIS with all proactive and reactive internal and external client communication needs establishes appropriate routines and forums to enable effective communication within RBCIS to support business performance client facing employee engagement and client retention.
  • Recommend and design client communication strategies and tactics to build the brand and reputation of RBCIS in the Canadian market, in partnership with Corporate Communications and Marketing
  • Builds a comprehensive client communication plan including delivering key messages on business change, important initiatives with clearly articulated benefits
  • Plan, and deliver clear, compelling employee client facing communications that engage employees and support business priorities.
  • Working in partnership with Corporate Communications and Marketing, partner to provide input and guidance on marketing collateral and messaging across multiple channels traditional and digital, social media, i.e. LinkedIn.
  • Provide input to RBCIS Website and intranet strategy and content
  • Support Marketings competitive market analysis SWOT analysis - gathering market research intelligence to locate new customers and monitor competitors.
  • Influence thought leadership content and delivery to the market across multiple channels in partnership with Corporate Communications and Markeing.
  • Supports and enable sales and relationship teams with client content and messaging that engages clients and client relationships.
  • Collaborate with sales and relationship management to ensure that messaging and branding is consistent across all outbound collateral including RFI/RFP responses, presentations and other collateral.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Strong technical background on digital tools/processes
  • Strong marketing and communication background with deep industry experience (5+ years experience)
  • Demonstrates ability to manage through process, data and fact
  • Strong relationship skills. Exceptional Impact and influence is required to build alignment and drive change across areas not reporting directly to this role.
  • Exceptional leadership qualities, including ability to execute.
