What is the opportunity?
RBC Dominion Securities (RBC DS) is currently seeking a Client Solutions Specialist Associate (CSSA) to join the BC team. Proactively working with a number of RBC DS branches within the province, the CSSA role is designed to help the regional CSS transition RBC DS clients to the home of best fit within RBC.

This position is hybrid (50% work-from-home) and open to all BC Residents. The successful candidate will be working from a DS Branch Location in their area. The main DS Branches are located in Vancouver, Abbotsford, Kamloops, Victoria, Nanaimo, Courtenay, Kerrisdale, Coquitlam, Kelowna, White Rock, and Vernon.

What will you do?

  • Support the regional CSS in general administrative duties in the management of all client accounts
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with colleagues across all RBC platforms
  • Request information and documentation from clients in order to transfer out accounts to other departments of RBC or other financial institutions
  • Maintain current knowledge of client accounts by reviewing daily activity online and other applicable reports
  • Monitor all pending transfers to ensure completion on a timely basis
  • Liaise with back office contacts to investigate and resolve inquiries related to accounts and account transactions
  • Perform follow up calls/e-mails with clients and record all activity in the contact management system

Must-have

  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Dedication to teamwork and collaboration
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills. Superior communicator over the phone
  • Passion for client experience

Nice-to-have

  • CIRO licensed (completion of CSC/CPH), with a minimum of 1 - 2 years of industry/brokerage experience OR to be licensed within 12 months
  • Understanding of different investment products and account types

The expected base salary range for the above position is $55,000 $57,500 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidates experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.

This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment.
