What is the opportunity?
The Director Strategic Risk will be responsible for coordinating second line of defense roles and responsibilities. The role is also responsible for developing and maintaining the Strategic Risk policy and risk taxonomy. Working collaboratively across risk stripes and regions will be imperative to ensure that strategic risk is managed in a consistent way and that the right risk stripes are involved in strategic processes.
What will you do?
Maintain the Strategic Risk Policy
Provide advice, review and challenge over strategic processes, including 3 year rolling strategic plan, annual plan, product development and other strategic programs
Ensure consistency of risk management approach globally, including across regions
Coordinate second line of defense activity by acting as the primary point of contact for first line of defense and engaging second line SMEs as required
Prepare reporting on strategic risk management
Develop and maintain risk appetite and KRI measures and limits
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Experience in risk management, experience with risk and controls, experience in strategy or strategic risk, experience in second line of defense role, experience working with data sets and performance indicators
MBA, CPA, CRM or equivalent work experience
