What is the opportunity?
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Messaging the Campaign Specialist will act as a subject matter expert to ensure end-to-end delivery of email communications to Wealth Management clients and advisors. Working with marketing partners in different areas of the bank, you will gather requirements, develop templates, filter audiences, and deploy emails within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have hands-on HTML coding skills, coupled with a deep understanding and interest in the quirks and limitations of email environments.
What will you do?
- Handle the execution of email marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including day-to-day operations such as email development, campaign set-up, scheduling, testing/quality assurance and deployment.
- Continuously monitor industry trends, technologies, and standards with respect to email development and online marketing and be able to research, recommend, and apply new technologies as they emerge.
- Champion continuous advancement of email features, process improvements, and automation capabilities to optimize customer experience and internal/external workflows.
- Conduct A/B tests to experiment with subject lines, email layouts, and creatives to drive increases in open and click-through rates.
- Ensure campaign accuracy, timeliness, and impact by collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
- Develop with Distributed Marketing content blocks for emails sent with Distributed Marketing.
- Establish and maintain email best practices while adhering to RBC Wealth Management brand standards.
What do you need to succeed?
- 1+ years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar
- Hands-on knowledge or willingness to learn HTML, CSS, and AMPscript for email creation
- Ability to organize multiple deadlines and perform a variety of tasks concurrently and efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Great teammate that is reliable, flexible, helpful, and works well in a collaborative environment
- Knowledge of privacy laws, CASL/CAN-SPAM/GDPR
- Salesforce Email Marketing Specialist Certification is an asset
