What is the opportunity?

As a Group New Business Contract Representative, you will be accountable for supporting the Group Benefits Solutions strategy, by creating and maintaining Group Contracts for our clients. We are looking for a dynamic individual who will help drive results to achieve high levels of client satisfaction that contribute positively to persistency and reputation in the Group Insurance market place.

What will you do?

  • Create new Group Policy Contracts and Employee Booklets, plus generate any Amendments or Extra Contractual Letters required
  • Input plan design details into the GBS Vantage system
  • Collaborate with internal partners and team members to ensure work is completed within SLAs
  • Manage high volumes and be able to prioritize and reprioritize assigned tasks
  • Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory and internal compliance requirements
  • Support the Group New Business Ops team with any other associated tasks, as required

What will you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience in a high volume/high intensity customer service environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work with French documents
  • Adaptability to changes in processes and procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks on multiple systems effectively and efficiently

Nice to have

  • Bilingual in French and English written
  • Post-secondary education (i.e. community college, university preferred)
  • Group insurance knowledge
  • Any experience with Hot Docs, GBS Vantage or GBS Workflow
