As an Institutional Analyst you will provide support to the PH&N Institutional team across a variety of asset classes and institutional mandates.

What will you do?

  • Maintain monthly and quarterly slide updates in the support of the products and strategies employed by our institutional clients

  • Create content, organize production, review and distribute client reporting (monthly, quarterly and on request)

  • Prepare presentations, data analysis and other forms of client communication on an ad hoc basis

  • Support research/creative analysis for white papers, product development, and internal/external seminars etc.

  • Work with our client relationship management system to capture key business development activities, mandate extensions, and critical client information

  • Play a key role in the day-to-day support of client mandates including mandate structuring, cash flow management, and compliance monitoring

  • Collaborate with various teams to organize/create recommendations on transition trades, and support implementation efforts as required

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Minimum 2 years investment and financial services (or related) industry experience

  • Undergrad degree - focus in finance, mathematics or economics preferred

  • Superior literacy of Microsoft office applications, particularly Excel and Power Point

  • Flexibility to work overtime, specifically at quarter-end

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multitask to meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy

  • Strong professional written and verbal communications skills

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of commonly used financial programs such as Bloomberg, PC Bond Analytics, Salesforce (CRM), etc.

  • Previous experience working with an asset management firm

  • Bilingual English/French

The expected base salary range for the above position is $50,000 - $80,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidates experience, skills, market conditions, and business needs.

This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment.
