WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The TAS team is undertaking multiple complex enterprise-wide initiatives as part of RBCs ongoing plan to improve technology management and IT RISK across the organization.We seek a proactive individual who is ready to take the initiative, deliver exceptional client support, and become a reliable contributor to our organization.

In this role you will be responsible for strategically planning and managing successful implementation of the above mentioned. The role will coordinate, develop, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure objectives are accomplished according on time.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Design and implement pipelines and monitoring practices for internally-developed, internally-hosted, and/or third-party vendor applications.
  • Utilize infrastructure-as-code to maintain consistent and reproducible environments.
  • Coding and configuring DevOps Pipeline using Jenkins and Git Actions integrating with RBC Helios pipelines.
  • Keeping track of latest technologies, and mentoring team on upgrading their code base.
  • Support operational teams with regular issues, including investigation, documentation and incident and problem management.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows to streamline software delivery and infrastructure management processes using existing tools and established tech stack.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

  • Hands-on experience with Ansible Tower
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Experience with Server Operating Systems Linux, Unix, Windows Server.
  • Experience with working with Jenkins, Urban Code Deploy (UCD), Git Actions.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenShift, Azure, PCF and working with windows/Linux VMs.
  • Experience with Container Platforms Docker K8s, OCP.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large, publicly-traded corporation
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer)
  • AWS certifications (e.g., Devops Engineer, Solution Architect, SysOps Administrator)
  • Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
