What is the Opportunity?

The Manager, Learning & Sales Practices will work closely with the Associate Director, Learning & Sales Practices to support and enable our high performing RBC GAM Sales team with sales practices, learning and development opportunities and advisor continuing education (CE). This role will ensure that all required reporting is completed and reviewed effectively and in a timely manner. They will also act as an ambassador and subject matter expert regarding CE and facilitate the development and delivery of sales training.

What you will do?

  • Conduct regular internal monitoring and reporting of sales practices for all RBC GAMs Individual Investor Business channels.
  • Gather and prepare all business materials and/or reporting on sales practices for internal and external audits.
  • Maintain all sales practices policies, procedures, forms and documentation.
  • Liaise with various partners, both internal and external, including Compliance, Marketing and vendors.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on CE accreditation, licensing requirements and cycles (governing body requirements, best practices for packaging content to maximize CE credits, etc.).
  • Administer CE accreditation and fulfilment program, including coordinating accreditation, producing certificates, reporting usage metrics, and budget management.
  • Act as an ambassador for the CE platform (CE Source), including encouraging usage/self-service as well as responding to all inquiries from the Sales Team and Advisors.
  • Review existing training materials and work closely with subject matter experts to enhance content, delivery and maintenance of training material.
  • Based on business needs, source new training content and manage delivery of training, including (but not limited to): partnering with suppliers, customization of materials and all logistics.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have

  • Excellent organization skills, analytical thinking and attention to detail is mandatory.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a high volume, dynamic team environment.
  • 3-5 years experience working within the financial services industry preferably in wealth management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Technically savvy a passion for leveraging technology to create efficiencies and enable users.

Nice to have

  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC).
  • Previous experience working with Salesforce, Webex and/or any LMS (Learning Management System) platform.
  • Previous experience in learning and development and/or sales.
