What is the opportunity?

The AIOps team is building multiple, complex, AI driven services to transform IT Ops and increase the operational resilience of critical RBC business processes. This is a hybrid role on the AIOps team, with elements of ML engineering, data engineering and software development. Your role will be to design, develop and deploy solutions that deliver AIOps M/AI services for the enterprise at scale.

What will you do?

  • Write production level code; package and deploy ML models in collaboration with data scientists and subject matter experts.

  • Partner with AIOps engineers and data owners to identify, extract and transform structured and unstructured data to enable exploratory data analysis.

  • Build robust and scaled real-time and batch data pipelines for model inferencing and training/re-training.

  • Develop and deliver end-to-end user experiences integrate ML pipelines with enterprise ops systems including but not limited to notification and alerting systems, IT Service Management systems, event aggregators and workflow orchestrators.

  • Continuously monitor model performance and measurably improve model performance over time

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Extensive and hands on experience implementing real-time and batch ETL/ELT pipelines, highly parallel data processing and stream processing with python, spark, kafka

  • Mighty python skills, extensive experience with ML python libraries such as PySpark NumPy, Pandas, Scikit, TensorFlow

  • Experience with cloud AI/ML and big data platforms and services, preferably AzureML, Vertex, SageMaker, Snowflake, DataBricks, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, REST APIs and microservices driven architectures

  • Strong software development experience in an agile context, and extensive experience working with CI/CD software deployment pipelines

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with LLMs and supervised and unsupervised ML techniques, and regression and classification techniques decision tree, random forest, neural network etc.

  • Experience developing ML/AI driven solutions in an ITOps, SRE, or infrastructure context with operational data such as infrastructure metrics and app logs

  • Front end expertise with react and/or angular
