WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Looking for a dedicated QE to join our team. The Ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our product/services meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and performance. The QE will coordinate closely with cross-functional teams, develop, and execute testing strategies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure optimal product quality.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a QE, you will play a important role in ensuring quality, reliability of our product and you will be responsible for

  • Test Planning & Execution:

    • Develop and Execute test plans, test cases and test scripts.

  • Bug Reporting & Tracking:

    • Identify, report and track defects through defect management tool(JIRA, qTest), ensuring issues/defects are resolved in timely manner.

  • Regression Testing:

    • Execute Regression testing to confirm that new functionalities or bug fixes have not negatively impacted existing functionality.

  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with development teams, product managers and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development cycle.

  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Propose and implement process improvements for testing methodologies, tools and practices.

  • Documentation:

    • Maintain clear, detailed test documentation and results and ensuring transparency and traceability.

  • PIV Testing:

    • Validate final product release to ensure quality metrics and product requirements are met before production deployment.

  • Root Cause Analysis:

    • Analyze the root cause of defects and work with cross functional teams to prevent future occurrences.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.

  • 3+ Years of Experience in Quality Engineering, Experience in Manual Testing

  • Postman, SoapUI, Service/API Testing, Agile Methodology, JIRA, qTest

  • Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.

  • A strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry.

  • Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Nice-to-have:

  • Mobile Testing, CI/CD Pipeline, Jenkins, Test Frameworks (TestNG), Mobile Automation knowledge

  • Knowledge of programing/Scripting languages Java, Java script or Python,

Soft Skills:

  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Attention to detail and passion for ensuring product quality.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
