What's the Opportunity?

We're seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Business Management to lead executive reporting, Project Approval Requests, and provide broad programmatic support for the Office of the COO. Reporting to the Senior Director, Business Management, Finance, and Client Enablement, this role will focus on supporting leaders and stakeholders across RBCx and RBC on a variety of initiatives. This role is for a strategic thinker who can balance high-level planning with hands-on execution to drive impactful initiatives

What will you do?

  • Lead recurring and ad hoc reporting to RBCs Senior Executives (e.g. QBR, executive reviews): deliver high-quality, timely reports with a focus on quality, accuracy, and a clear narrative

  • Provide strategic insights and readily available financial reports to key stakeholders.

  • Oversee Project Approval Requests (PAR) processes for all Portfolio Companies; collaborate to create strong business cases, align stakeholders, monitor draw down of approved capital, and support annual injection reviews/requests as needed.

  • Provide legal entity maintenance, oversight and control in conjunction with partners in finance, tax, and legal

  • Improve operations and process in order to build scalable functions

  • Provide centralized support to supply ad hoc program and project capacity

  • As needed:

  • Manage timing across multiple acquisition deals to ensure operational readiness across stakeholder groups.

  • Enable integration and ensure the value of the acquired business is preserved by removing barriers and hurdles to operating while balancing the needs of various RBC stakeholders

  • Oversee wind-downs

What will you need?

Must Haves

  • 5+ years experience working in business operations, strategy, finance, strategic planning or other operational functions

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, strong financial modeling skills, and impeccable attention to detail.

  • Experience developing business cases

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, experience delivering high-quality executive reporting

  • Ability to self-direct and self-manage to deadlines

  • Comfort leading without authority and working with senior leaders to deliver on responsibilities

Nice to Haves

  • CFA, CPA, or MBA or masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Experience working in consulting, a high-growth B2B/B2C SaaS environment, or a large financial institution

  • Undergraduate degree in business, commerce, or related fields
