We are seeking a Senior Manager of Partnerships Analytics (contract) to lead and manage the analytics mandate that supports merchant partnerships critical to the Avion Rewards ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have superior analytical skills, ability to distil insights and commercial acumen.

What will you do?

  • Provide consultancy and advisory as the internal analytics lead to the partnerships organization

  • Deliver insights on merchant campaigns, consumer spend behaviour and industry trends

  • Maintain and evolve regular reporting that tracks the health of merchant partnerships across various success metrics

  • Lead the scoping and delivery of customized analyses where required with the objective to deepen partnerships and to identify new opportunities for growth

  • Develop meaningful and compelling narratives and present directly to stakeholders

  • Collaborate across functions to drive desired outcomes within a complex matrix organization

  • Manage the prioritization of requests, projects and deliverables and know when to escalate

  • Identify process improvements to streamline or automate reporting processes

  • Bring in best practices and identify new analytics opportunities to drive value to merchant partners, best practices from other loyalty and marketing competitors as well as retailer analytics insights

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Bachelors / Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics)

  • At least 5 years of experience in analytics, preferably in a loyalty or retail environment

  • Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, Spark, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Strong commercial acumen with ability to bridge between business and technical requirements

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Ability to influence decision making using data and insights

  • Attention to detail
