What is the opportunity?
The Senior Quality Engineer, Digital Marketing Technology will be responsible for effective execution and tracking functional tests for Offer Platform and other projects. You will be responsible for test case creation and execution, maximizing automation opportunities. You will ensure the QE processes are well defined, executed and continually monitored. You will work with members of the team to ensure functional/regression test suite is up to date and remains relevant. You will also be accountable for driving quality and will champion defect prevention/early defect detection and maximizing test coverage.
What will you do?
Create and maintain test automation frameworks, tools, and artefacts, ensuring testing process is continuous, comprehensive, and fully autonomous.
Design effective test cases and test design techniques. Prioritize different test scenarios and create execution plans.
Review non-functional requirements and development activities to ensure full understanding of the scope of work and create optimal ways to validate solutions.
Create Test Suite, Traceability matrix etc. and provide support on test suite walkthrough with the team.
Support the implementation of the QE Program and overall QE process and standards through continuous test preparation and execution.
Follow agreed upon processes for test results storage, defect tracking and defect verification and supporting project metrics.
Provide daily status to scrum master and team.
Identify issues in the system and record them. Fix issues by collaborating with deployment teams.
Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members and stakeholders using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close.
Provide QA and UAT sign-off.
Provide PIV plan, perform PIV and document PIV result.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
3+ years of working experience Functional Tester and Automation Test developer
Experience working with Test Automation Frameworks and Tools (Ready API, Selenium, Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)
Knowledge of Java programming and SQL
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and collaboration skills
Understanding of RESTful API request and response formats
Knowledge working with JIRA and confluence.
Experience working with DevOps pipelines (Git, Jenkins)
Nice to have:
Knowledge and experience with Salesforce technology is an asset.
Experience working in Agile projects.
Experience and understanding of the banking environment.
Manual testing experience on cloud applications
