What is the opportunity?

You will play a significant role as a Senior Support Analyst focused on Platform Application support in client operations Institutional Client Reporting Support Services.

What will you do?

  • Primary role is to act as an intermediary between IT and Business Units.
  • Platform application support Gplus (Custody and Benefit Payments, Portfolio Accounting) and Trust/PCR Systems
  • Ensure all enquiries from business units (AIS, Derivative, Pooled Fund, Shadow Team, Client Services and Reporting, Benefit Payments Team) are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Support the Gplus/Trust/PCR Client Reporting Teams on outages, investigate and execute correction solutions for the business unit to follow and or coordinate with IT to finalize.
  • Determining needs and suggesting solutions for improvements in procedures, processes or systems to support other functions.
  • Review and execute processes to reduce & mitigate operational risk and ensure processing and client requirements are carried out in the most efficient manner
  • Delivery quality service to all parties by promptly responding to requests and inquiries relating to Gplus Custody, Benefit Payments systems.
  • Support other Analysts during high volume periods, and effectively participate in all special system projects raised by the business or T&O teams, seeing through to completion (requirements, UAT/PIV testing, etc.)
  • Communicate and escalate all issues to Management. Submit Change requests to T&O for system related changes

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 5+ years of experience in the financial industry managing financial and regulatory reporting for clients
  • Strong understanding of Institutional Client statutory and financial reporting requirements Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills and ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • University Degree on Business, Finance or Commerce
  • MS Intermediate Excel skills, VBA Macro Skills
  • Strong problem solving skills and an analytical approach

Nice-to-have

  • Industry related courses/designations
  • Data Analytics experience, Comfortable working with large data sets
