RCOA leads in innovative blended learning and we are seeking a talented Gr. 8-12 teacher to join our team in the Nanaimo area.
This position is approximately 0.2-0.4 FTE.

Onsite work: This position includes teaching a grade 8-12 learning center class in Nanaimo on Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. approximately 3 days per month.
Online work: This position also includes working from home in a flexible online position during the week. Fully online courses may include English Language Arts, Social Studies, Careers, ADST and Christian Studies.
Qualifications:
A teacher who is certified by the B.C. Teacher Regulation Branch or the Office of the Inspector of Independent Schools. A teacher who can attend onsite training three times per year in the Lower Mainland and/or Vancouver Island areas of B.C.
Experience: Experience and education related to working with students in online learning, competency-based assessment, and project-based learning are helpful but not necessary.

Remuneration:
$49,721 - $83,390 at the determined FTE, as it is finalized within the range of 0.2-0.4 FTE
