What will you do?

  • Develop forecast models in Excel to manage inventory internally and with strategic vendors, resolve supply constraints by identifying and sourcing substitute products and working with Product Management and Operations to ensure product availability
  • Develop and manage relationships with strategic vendors to proactively manage product forecast and supply for highly seasonal HVAC business
  • Projecting inventory levels and out of stock to identify areas of risk and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Utilize quantitative skills to analyze, validate, manipulate and manage large amounts of data, to assess a situation and ultimately present recommendations for resolution
  • Source new products as defined by Product Management, collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure supply chain is prepared in advance of launch
  • Calculate financial impact of vendor price changes, leverage consumption and historical factors to determine annual spend impact to be used in negotiations with suppliers
  • Generate and publish vendor scorecards monthly, measuring critical supply chain KPI’s
  • Develop and publish various Supply Chain reports
  • Assess existing process and identify continuous improvement opportunities, ensure processes and work instructions are documented
  • Master data management in purchasing, inventory and invoice software

What do you bring?

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Supply Chain related role
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Analytics with focus on Supply Chain, Operations and Vendor Management, Supply Chain certifications are preferred
  • Fundamental understanding of Supply Chain, logistics and inventory management concepts are required
  • Superior quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, substantial attention to detail
  • Ability to extract data from various systems and build reporting in Excel that leverages multiple data sources and business logic/rules
  • End to end process thinker, with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, extensive experience using an ERP system is required
  • Ability to think outside the box and identify practical solutions
  • Proven communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with various and diverse internal and external contacts; ability to manage up and interact effectively with management
  • Strong team player, motivated to exceed expectations and a desire to learn, ability to work independently as required.
