What will you do?

Claims Processing and Evaluation

  • Review and process claims, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal standards.
  • Analyze claims for accuracy, completeness, and compliance, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Manage claims through all stages, from submission to resolution.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyze claims trends, costs, and outcomes to identify patterns and risks.
  • Generate detailed reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Present findings to management, offering data-driven process improvements.

Risk Management and Compliance

  • Collaborate with risk teams to mitigate claims-related risks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and assist in audits.
  • Develop and maintain claims management policies and procedures.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work with cross-functional teams, including legal, customer service, and vendors.
  • Provide updates to claimants and stakeholders on claims status.
  • Offer guidance on best practices for effective claims management.

Process Improvement and Strategy

  • Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT to optimize claims management systems.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for claims team members.

What do you bring?

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, risk management, insurance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications related to claims management or risk management (e.g., Associate in Claims (AIC), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)) are preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in claims management or a related field, with a strong understanding of claims handling processes.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
  • Ability to review claims information and identify inconsistencies or potential issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and provide reports.
  • Capable of identifying problems and proposing solutions in a timely manner.
  • Proficient in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of insurance policies, regulatory requirements, and claims management best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
