CONTINUING EDUCATION SECRETARY
SCHOOL:
Pembroke Continuing Education - Adult High School
SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
17.5 hours/week, 12 months/year
RATE OF PAY:
$27.72 to $28.55 per hour (Group 6)
TERM:
Part-time, permanent

QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of Grade 12 education plus an additional post-secondary program of up to one (1) year or equivalent in a related discipline. The applicant must possess knowledge of, and a high degree of efficiency in, the operation software systems including student information systems, spreadsheets, word-processing and web based applications. A high degree of initiative and independent judgment is required. The candidate must have the ability to deal professionally and effectively with staff, parents, students and the general public. Minimum of 6 months up to 1 year experience required.
DUTIES:
A key member of the office team, the primary function of the Secretary - Adult High School is to ensure the effective daily operation of the office by providing administrative and secretarial support to staff, and by assisting students and the public.
