DISPATCHER __________
Groupe Robert is presently looking for a dispatcher for permanent full-time work for its Rouyn-Noranda terminal.
The candidate will be responsible for managing a team of drivers and dispatching them in order to maximize the use of their equipment and time. He or she will also have to take into consideration the needs of each client.

As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for:
- Optimize operations during the day and manage assignment changes;
- Take customer orders;
- Effectively resolve all issues impacting customer service;
- Follow up on issues that arise, changes that need to be made, and changes that need to be made to operations;
- Maintain driver dispatch systems;
- Track driver hours of service to ensure compliance;
- Communicate effectively with employees, suppliers and our customers.
• At least two years experience as a dispatcher, within the specialized division
• Knowledge of non-standard transport
• Excellent geographical knowledge of Ontario, United States and Quebec
• Great communication and organizational skills
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook and PC Miller)
• Ability to work under pressure
• Bilingual French & English (written and spoken)
• Logistics transportation diploma (asset)
