The Opportunity
RVS invites you to apply for a temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) Elementary Generalist(Grade 3) - Christian Program teaching position starting immediately until November 8, 2024 at R.J. Elementary School. R.J. Hawkey Elementary School is located in the City of Airdrie and serves students from grades K-5 including the Christian Program and Pre-Kindergarten Program. The Christian Program is an alternative program offered by RVS. The program focuses on integrating the Christian faith and a Biblical world-view in a public school setting. The Christian program is a community where people and relationships matter, where identity and culture is clearly defined by their Christian faith, and where an excellent learning community is provided for their students.
This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.
The successful can d idate must possess, or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certification with Alberta Education at www.alberta.ca/teacher-certification.
