Our expectations

In collaboration with your manager and various business partners, you will ensure an optimal level of inventory for the product categories and stores under your responsibility.

Your role

  • Participate in the planning and execution of marketing strategies for the categories under his responsibility
  • Define and maintain replenishment parameters in line with the corporate inventory management strategy while supporting marketing initiatives for the products under his responsibility
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal partners to develop strategies
  • Ensure excellent collaboration with business partners responsible for merchandising
  • Coordinate the various activities with the stakeholders
  • Analyze and monitor performance indicators (level of products in stock, accuracy of sales forecasts, turnover rate, inventory budget, dashboard, product status, etc.)
  • Participate in a collaborative cycle of review and planning of sales, inventory and supply (S&OP/CPFR)

The qualifications we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in operations management or a related field
  • 1 to 4 years’ related experience, preferably in demand planning and stock management
  • Proficiency with computer tools such as MS Excel and databases
  • Good knowledge of JDA (an asset)
  • Analytical skills in order to formulate recommendations
  • Well-developped business acumen and sense of urgency
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
  • Organizational skills, thoroughness, self-direction and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Familiarity with the retail industry and/or distribution (an asset)
