Our expectations
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, Affiliates, the FP&A Analyst will work directly with the management team as well as the store operations and business development teams. The candidate will actively contribute to the growth of the affiliate store network. You will be responsible of profitability analysis supporting the decision-making process to help achieve financial objectives.
Your role
- Act as a business partner to the affiliate store business unit, specifically stores operations and business development teams
- Analyze and interpret financial results and KPIs to help the store operations team monitor store performance and take action to optimize the performance of the affiliate network
- Create presentations for merchant meetings
- Develop profitability analysis in relation to store retention and recruitment of new dealers
- Participate in the financial planning process (budgets, forecasts) as well as period end
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses, as required by senior management
- Support the business unit in the calculations and application of the commercial programs and agreements in force
The qualifications we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial role.
- Experience in the retail industry is an asset.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented with a focus on delivering high quality work.
- Ability to speak in front of a group and can explain financial concepts to the general public.
- Excellent analytical, synthesis skills and show initiative and dynamism.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork and multi-stakeholder collaboration skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent knowledge of computer tools including Excel
- Fluency in French and English, both oral and written
