Our expectations
Reporting to the Manager, Sales and Dealer Services, the POS System Conversion Specialist will be responsible for system conversion planning, support and training of store teams. He/she will be the point of contact for Business Development teams and store operations teams for all matters concerning affiliated merchants' POS systems.
Your role
- Plan POS system conversions for new stores with the Business Development team, Store Operations and external service providers.
- Provide in-store user support, in collaboration with external service providers, to ensure successful system conversions.
- Participate in the training of in-store users and be the point of contact for any questions relating to Dealers' POS systems.
- Maintain system documentation and POS-related training courses.
- Participate, as an expert, in various POS system development and improvement projects.
- Ideally, travel to various network stores to support system conversions and user training.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
The qualifications we are looking for
- 5 years' relevant experience
- Excellent collaborator with the ability to maintain good relations with internal teams, customers (Dealer stores) as well as external service providers
- Knowledge of OMNI, OGC, OGASYS and Eagle cash register systems
- Ability to manage tight deadlines
- Good communicator
- Ability to work independently
